Insurance & Payment Options for Therapy in Oregon

ClearView Counseling Center accepts several in-network insurance plans and also offers private pay therapy options. Our goal is to make mental health care as accessible as possible while helping clients understand how payment and insurance coverage work before beginning services.

ClearView Counseling Center works with several in-network insurance providers to help make therapy more accessible.

How Insurance Works for Therapy Sessions

ClearView Counseling Center bills your health insurance provider directly for therapy services. While we handle the insurance billing process, clients are responsible for understanding their insurance benefits and coverage.

Co-pays and deductibles required by your insurance plan are the responsibility of the client and are due at the beginning of each session.

One or more of our therapists are in-network or preferred providers with the insurance companies listed on this page. Coverage and benefits may vary depending on your specific insurance plan.

If you have questions about whether your insurance plan qualifies for in-network services, please book a new client visit to get in contact with our office.

How Insurance Billing Works

  • ClearView Counseling Center submits insurance claims directly to your insurance provider after each therapy session. Our administrative team handles the billing process so that clients can focus on their care. Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for copays, deductibles, or coinsurance amounts required by your insurance provider.

  • Clients are responsible for verifying their mental health benefits with their insurance provider before beginning therapy. When contacting your insurance company, we recommend confirming that your plan includes mental health coverage, whether ClearView Counseling Center is in-network, and what your expected copay or deductible may be for therapy services.

  • If your insurance plan does not cover therapy services or if you prefer not to use insurance, ClearView Counseling Center offers private pay options. Private pay sessions are billed directly to the client and allow for greater flexibility in care.

  • Payments are processed at the end of each therapy session. For clients using insurance, any required copayments or balances will be collected according to your insurance plan. Private pay sessions are billed at the time of service at the discounted private pay rate.

Private Pay Therapy Options

Private pay can be helpful for clients whose insurance plans do not cover therapy services. For questions about private pay rates or payment options, please book a new client visit to get in contact with our office.

Some clients choose to pay privately for therapy rather than using insurance. Private pay sessions are billed at the end of service and are offered at a discounted rate compared to standard insurance billing.

Accepted Forms of Payment

ClearView Counseling Center accepts the following forms of payment for therapy services:

• Checks
• Credit and debit cards
• HSA (Health Savings Account) cards
• Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards

Payments for co-pays, deductibles, or private pay sessions are collected at the beginning of each appointment.

If you have questions about payment methods or insurance coverage, please book a new client visit to get in contact with our office.

Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

ClearView Counseling Center reserves appointment times specifically for each client. To avoid a late cancellation fee, we ask that appointments be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be subject to a late cancellation charge.

Appointments cancelled within two hours of the scheduled start time or missed without notice are considered a no-show and may result in a missed appointment fee.

Our cancellation and attendance policies will be reviewed with each client during the intake session, where you will receive additional details and have the opportunity to ask any questions.
